This whimsical 4,000 sf Mid-Century Modern pad provides a relaxing escape from the rat race, with 2 guest bedrooms & en-suite bath, a cavernous 800 sf great room, gourmet kitchen, dining table for 8, hot tub, porch and patios, all on one level. Dog-friendly. Rejuvenate on 3 acres of landscaped grounds directly on Lake Whitehurst (freshwater fishing).

> Our award-winning bnb is a HOME-SHARE. This means your Superhost lives at the property. I spend the majority of time in my office, allowing you access to all spaces. Think of it as having a butler on-call in a fully stocked home.

> PET POLICY: Wiseacre is pet-friendly for HOUSE-TRAINED, SOCIALIZED dogs. Please discuss in advance. Fee is $48. If yours suffers from separation anxiety, please don’t bring. You are responsible for your pet’s behavior; charges evaluated if there’s damage. If you plan to leave your baby at home while out, they should be crated.

> LOCATION: Virginia Beach oceanfront is a 15-minute drive. 5 minutes from Chesapeake Bay and Norfolk Botanical Garden; Richmond 90 minutes door to door; DC metro is 3 hours away.

HOUSE RULES 1) Please ensure that your total number of guests matches your booking. If you have more guests than what you booked for, extra fees will be incurred upon your arrival. 2) This is a home-share, so I will be here to greet you when you arrive. I'll show you around, give you an entry code and make sure you're comfortable. Then you're free to enjoy all here at Wiseacre! 3) Free Wifi is included in your stay. Network Name: Chuck's Wifi Password: wiseacre 4) You are welcome to unload at the front door. Please then park your car next to the garage. 5) If your trash gets full, simply put the can outside the bedroom door and we will empty it for you! 6) Please wash and put away any dishes used during your stay. 7) Check out is by 11 am. A one-hour extension is available for $50 for groups of 6 and fewer. 8) Photo or video shoots require additional fees. Contact host, please. Events are NOT allowed at Wiseacre. 9) PET POLICY A max of 2 dogs are welcome... $48 one-time fee. Must be house trained/no separation anxiety issues. FYI, Charlotte, a chill 8yo Cavalier King Charles Spaniel is on the premises. If you are considering a bringing pet, please discuss in advance.
