Idyllwild quiet/dark hours are from 10pm until 8am. Please turn off all unnecessary outside lights after 10pm to avoid light pollution (which makes stargazing more difficult).
Any damage to the property or the items within will be assessed on a case-by case basis and will be billed accordingly.
Any unannounced guests will result in an additional fee of $100 per guest, per night and we reserve the right to evict any guests who break this rule without refund
Unannounced pets will result in a fee of $500 and immediate eviction without refund
All electronics must be returned to their designated locations found within the house binder or will be subject to the following charges:
-PS5 (1) $950
-PS5 Controllers (2) $85/ea
-OLED Nintendo Switch (1) $550
Please respect the property's artwork and do not touch.
Duraflames only in the fireplace. The use of wood results in a fee of $250.
Absolutely no fire accelerants of any kind allowed on the property.
Please turn off propane on fire pits and bbq when not in use.
Events can be booked directly ONLY - any unauthorized event will result in a fee and the immediate eviction of any guests onsite without refund. Any applicable charges will be pressed.
Spa Minotaurus towels and robes can be purchased for a fee. You can find details in the house binders. Missing items will be billed accordingly.
DISHES - Dirty dishes are guest responsibility. IF you do not want to do the dishes, a $50 fine will be added to your bill.
No professional photo or video without prior written approval. Any guests in violation of this rule are subject to a $2500 fine.
Everything BEHIND THE GATES is part of The Big House at Wiley's. All other campsites and neighboring parcels are STRICTLY OFF LIMITS unless you are renting the entire property with us directly. Please respect the privacy of any other guests, neighbors, or staff you may see outside of the Big House Gates and in turn, everything behind the gates is strictly private and intended for your group.
Wiley's is not responsible for any ice or snow related injuries, accidents, or stuck vehicles as they are all a part of mountain living. Guests assume all responsibility for checking road conditions with Caltrans and assuring chains requirements are met prior to their arrival/departure.
Sometimes pipes freeze in the winter. In the event that this happens, our staff will do everything in our power to warm them back up, though we will not give any refunds, as they are a part of mountain living.
Power outages are a regular part of mountain living. In the event of an outage, we will do our best to provide you with alternative options, including one or more of the following: access to firewood and/or generator power, providing the names of public locations that provide generator power to charge phones and get meals, etc. Wiley's is not responsible for said outages and will no refunds will be given in these instances.
Wiley's is not responsible for the misuse of alcohol or any other controlled substances. Guests are encouraged to drink responsibly. All adult items on the premises are intended for responsible adult-use only. If a guest using the upstairs honor bar uses more of an item than is polite or intended, we ask that they replace the item with something of equal or greater value.
