Unwind in the high country of Colorado at the one and only Tomichi Lodge. The lodge was constructed in 1979 as a hunting lodge and has served backcountry skiers, bikers, hunters and fisherman, hikers and nature lovers ever since. You can access all of these activities right out the front door.

4 bedrooms + sleeping loft (14 beds + 3 futons total), 2 full bathrooms, a full kitchen, an awesome great room with lofted ceilings and 2 wood burning stoves provide a home away from home feel for those looking to escape the grind and get away. There is no cell service nor internet.

There is an outdoor ‘cowboy’ hot tub during the spring, summer and fall months. Relax under the stars at 10,300′ while soaking in the wood-fueled hot tub.

There are dispensaries in Gunnison if you choose to fly into GUC or if you’re driving up from the front range you’ll drive past a handful of dispensaries in Salida.

Most years you can drive up to the lodge June 15 – Oct 15, depending on snowpack. During peak winter you will have a 6-mile hike from the trailhead to the lodge. Or, you can book a snowmobile shuttle through our lodge.
