The unbelievable deals in Clothing!!! the way into Downtown! This is the clothes shopping capital of No. So. America. Much made right here, then designers put their labels on it. $3 stylish tops $10 Jeans $10 – $15 dresses and jackets and the $1 and $2 dollar stores – I once found gorgeous expensive one of a kind fashion SAMPLES (from fashion show)$1000 leather pants for $1 ea and bought all they had for the leather in sizes 16, 20, 22, 24. Not just size 6-9 samples anymore. Great Shopping.

I love my Neighborhood but this is Los Angeles.

I love all the brightly colored Piñata’s and the fresh food vendors for authentic Mexican Foods just 2 blocks away. I really Love the fresh squeezed juice Orange, Grapefruit or a Cucumber chia for ONLY $3 16 oz! Terrific deal and never fresher! Fiesta
… gives chef Shelly’s Mexican food a run for its …. Margherita! ??

Piñata District with fresh Burrito and taco stands every five feet and FRESH SQUEEZED Orange and Grapefruit Juice for $3.00 for a Large – about 7 oranges squeezed in to a cup right in front of you. Yum and very cool perk and ONLY place in America FOR $3 BUCKS!! Fiesta! Only a block away.

Minutes to historic Olvera street or Union Station, La Brea Tar Pits, Hollywood sign and take the local metro train 25 minutes to Santa Monica Beach and Pier.

Getting around
#53 Bus stop across street and minutes from Train Station or walk to Downtown.

$2. uber to night clubs or Dinner, $1.80 uber to metro train station. $1.50 to greyhound and about $5 from Union Station, Amtrak. Airport – take the train or shuttle because its about a $40 – $50 + Uber ride any where in downtown and about $100 uber ride to far north end of LA/Hollywood (Encino, Westlake village for example and takes HOURS with all the grid-lock traffic!).

Other things to note
Get a California Pass for only $159 and travel for up to 21 days with 8 days of actual train travel in California, Las Vegas NV, Yosemite, Monterey/Carmel, Napa Wine Country, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Mexico and every city in between.

I am Loaded with GREAT Travel Advice for all of California. My Location is Minutes to ANY WHERE in Los Angeles Area. MacArthur park location, Korea town, Echo park, Angelino Hts. Westen, Lexinton, Beverly streets are sometimes not the best Neighborhoods for safety and convenience – though some report good experiences at BnBs in some of these areas near train stations and STAY AWAY from 5th st in downtown that AREA is SKID ROW! – Heads up. Anything not directly located near Hollywood and Highland streets or DOWNTOWN los Angeles (outside of freeway triangle) VERY BAD for Public transportation – takes FOREVER and LIMITED SERVICE – not walkable and you NEED A CAR!

HEADS UP – Be careful where you stay. Traffic and Transportation is Horrific in Los Angeles. You could be traveling hours to LA using public transportation from locations just 20 miles away. Be warned – Unless you are in the heart of Downtown near the train station where everything is easier or with-in few blocks of Hollywood and Highland in Hollywood you may face unwanted and undesirable travel times What ever your reason for stopping in LA – I’m Here and I’m Convenient. Close to EVERYTHING in Los Angeles – Airport, Train, Greyhound, In Heart of FASHION DISTRICT Downtown, HOLLYWOOD, USC, 60 – 90 minutes to Disneyland by Public Transportation, 25 minutes on the Train to Santa Monica Beach.

- My Guest House sleeping area is very quiet all hours of the day - the TVs and Gourmet Commercial kitchen are in a separate Suite and we have an outside lounge for getting rowdy if you must - however I ALWAYS recommend traveling with ear plugs is a must and cost less than a dollar to ensure total satisfaction and happiness, especially when travel is time consuming. You wont miss a minute of sleep and you wake up when you want to the way you want to on vacation, Happy and refreshed - Check-In after 4pm. Closed 11 am to 4 pm for Cleaning. Thank you.
