Try another state of mind at this 420 sq. ft. cozy modern cabin in a secluded wooded area overlooking a beautiful cannabis garden. Take a long soak in the clawfoot tub for two under the stars before you retreat inside to your tempurpedic bed with luxury linens. You will be provided with luxury organic haircare and epsom salts for your bath. Feast on frittatas for breakfast made from farm fresh eggs and garden vegetables. Gourmet coffee, munchies and a gift of a cannabis flight if you desire. This is a complete cannabis experience not just another place to sit around and smoke weed.

This is a brand new cabin with all the luxury amenities you could ask for. It’s a comfortable 420 sq. Ft. and has a queen memory foam bed in the loft with spiral stairs that lead up to it with an additional deck with seating for stargazing. The bed is outfitted with luxury linens from Pottery Barn and Restoration Hardware. And plenty of it so no one needs to go cold or not have enough pillows. It’s so snug. It will be hard to get out of bed, except that there are so many cozy spots to settle into at this cabin.

The main floor has a kitchen with a full size fridge, stove top, toaster oven and microwave. There is a copper sink with matching copper faucet. It’s well equipped with all cooking and dining utensils. The fridge will have a nice assortment of complimentary beverages like beer, soda, juice and wine.

SELF SERVE BREAKFAST- There will be a tasty treat of gourmet coffee, teas, chocolate and cream in the morning along with a fresh made frittata that just needs to be popped into the oven. Farm fresh eggs and seasonal organic vegetables from our garden are the foundation for this breakfast culinary delight! I will ask for your likes and dislikes a few days ahead of time. Ice cream, healthy treats, and other munchies that may be necessary will be stocked as well.

The living room has a queen sofa bed, TV, DVD player and a Bluetooth sound bar. You can watch DVD’s or connect a phone or tablet to watch movies. There are USB ports located throughout the cabin for your convenience.
If there are more than two guests the sofa can be made into another bed for two.
The cabin has beautiful hardwood floors and a beautiful custom porcelain tiled bathroom with shower and sliding barn door. In the bathroom you will find professional organic haircare, lotion and a hair dryer. You will want to wrap yourself into the luxurious towels provided. The air conditioner and ceiling fan will keep you cool on those warm summer days and open windows for that cool fresh air on summer nights. The antique wood stove will have the cabin be a warm homey retreat from the elements in winter.

The outdoor living area is spacious and has several nooks for lounging, seating and conversation. On the front under the covered porch there is a deep lounging sofa. And off to the side there is another seating area. This is a calming, peaceful and private place.

There is a spacious claw foot tub for two on the deck that is connected to an on-demand water heater with a bucket of epsom salt for your pleasure. Yes, endless hot water! I’m sure a bath in the buff under the stars in complete privacy is what the doctor ordered.

And speaking about what the doctor ordered, we will provide a gift of a cannabis flight of six sativas to guests 21 and over each day and the use of clean smoking devices during your stay. All varieties are home sun-grown organic varieties. If you like more information please inquire.

There is not a washer or dryer but for longer stays there is laundry service available.

You will have access to the entire place except the main garden that is fenced and kept locked. We will give tours if interested. For an additional fee a short informative hands on class can be given as well.
There is also a small fruit orchard so depending on what time of year you visit you could be having fresh peaches, plums, apples, cherries or pears. In the winter the gardens and fruit trees are dormant.
If you fancy you can walk down to the chicken coop and collect eggs and ruffle some feathers.

We will be there to check you in and show you the ropes. In the morning someone will be in the garden watering or doing maintenance but will not be disturbing or wake you. After that you will not have to lay eyes on another human unless you would like.
We will always be available by call or text and someone is usually home. You cannot see us or our home. You have complete privacy. It’s a 10 min walk up the hill through the trees to our home.

This cabin is located within our large property where our own home is located. We love to interact with guests but also respect privacy. After all, that is why you would come to a private hideaway such as this.

We welcome well behaved pets and can even provide a dog bed if needed.

We take great pride in our home and property and would like everything to be perfect for your stay. If there are any other requests that we can make happen please do not hesitate to ask. Maybe roses, chocolates, champagne, rose petals, a special food or to have your grocery shopping done ahead of time. We can arrange that as well.

If coming from the Bay Area or Reno we are located just off Hwy 80.

Take the Amtrak train for the ultimate relaxing and scenic option. I’ve done it myself and it’s spectacular. You take the train right to Colfax where we will pick up you and your guests, stop by the market for any incidentals and then up to your retreat.
