Our cannabis travel destination of the week this week is this cozy little condo in Pampano Beach. 

Pampano Beach in Florida is named after the Pampano fish that is found off the Atlantic coast, but it is also often referred to as “the heart of the Gold Coast.” The town holds several events each year, including the St. Coleman’s Italian Festival, Pampano Beach Seafood Festival, St. Patrick’s Irish Festival,  the Pompano Beach Holiday Boat Parade, The Holiday Yuletide Parade and the Annual Nautical Flea Market at Pompano Community Park & Amphitheater. There is an annual holiday boat parade in December, and a seafood festival in August.

Of course if you like relaxing on the beach then you are going to love Pampano, but there is a lot more for you to do other than just that too. The city is famous for its boating and fishing expertise, and there is a wonderful opportunity for scuba diving and snorkeling due to the offshore coral reef.

There are also a number of museums and other points of interest that will entertain the whole family. There are theatres that also are popular among tourists looking for shows to watch. For those who prefer to enjoy the outdoors, there are parks — the Fern Forest Nature Park is a must!

The fishing pier in Pampano is 1,000 feet long and the beach boasts playgrounds, picnic tables and grills — perfect for the family vacation.
