Marijuana vacation of the week: Netherlands

If you’ve heard about the French man who has successfully managed to train bees to consume cannabis resin and produce cannahoney, you might have been inspired to visit Europe. And why not? There is so much to do in the beautiful European country, and there are also Bud and Breakfast properties that you can rent a room in while you are there. Allow your weed travel to take you to places that you’ve never been before!

So why not travel to Europe? And where to go? The Netherlands have plenty of fully legal designated smoking areas in the form of cannabis coffee shops and the marijuana scene is pretty famous all over the world. If you haven’t been before, this should be your first European port of call for a marijuana holiday.

Amsterdam is a wonderful city with a lot to offer the traveler. You can visit the house of Anne Frank, go see the Rijksmuseam, or the Van Gogh Museum. If you want some time outside, Vondelpark is the most famous park in Amsterdam and was built in 1850. Here is a place where you can bike, hike or simply picnic.

Fancy something a little more challenging? Try Logic Locks! This game is not for the faint hearted—you will be in a locked up in a room with your team and have exactly sixty-three minutes and 17 seconds to puzzle your way out. It is a real-life adventure game and is challenging. If escape rooms are your thing, you need to check this out!

Remember, you cannot transport cannabis, so don’t try and take it home with you or into any other European country.  The Dutch policy allows citizens to to own small amounts of cannabis and grow a couple of small plants. Selling cannabis in coffee shops is still technically illegal but it is tolerated by the authorities as long as consumers do not make nuisances of themselves. Make sure that you always do your own personal research as to the cannabis rules and regulations of any country or region that you choose to visit.
