The Big Barn Farm is a relaxing Farm centrally located in the Green Mountains. The property consists of a large Farmhouse, multiple outbuildings and a Landmark 5-story Historic Barn. This 4-season paradise is a wonderful place to ESCAPE, RELAX and PLAY!

This Farmhouse has been recently updated and modernized into a bright, sunny, private and secure space. After a great day of recreation, come home to the Farmhouse take a deep relaxing breath, soak up the stunning valley views through the bay windows of the large sitting/dining rooms and contemplate what you’ll cook up in the fully modernized kitchens. At dusk, head outside to the bonfire pit and enjoy roasting marshmallows and chilling out by the warm glow of the fire and fading sunset. This is how a typical day is spent at the Big Barn Farm.

The Farmhouse consists of two separate apartments that are rented out together. Each fully functioning space has a kitchen, bathroom, living/dining room and two bedrooms. In this rental package, you end up with 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, 2 kitchens and 2 living rooms and PLENTY of outdoor space to privately relax and take it down a few notches. In the upper apartment, the Master is a large, comfortable room with both a deluxe queen bed and a twin daybed and the second bedroom is bright and cozy with a double bed. In the downstairs unit, the Master has a comfortable queen bed and walk-in closet and the comfortable second bedroom has bunk beds.

Each kitchen has brand new gourmet appliances and is outfitted with everything you’ll need to serve up culinary delights. Each bathroom has a full-sized tub with a rain shower head and a new, high-end large capacity washer/dryer to clean up from the day’s activities.

You’ll feel like you’re away from it all – even though you’re only a very short jaunt from the heart of everything that Central VT has to offer! Biking/hiking/swimming/boating/waterfall exploration/skiing/snowboarding/snowmobiling/fishing/ice fishing….and high-end food destinations to die for. 5 miles to Ludlow/Okemo. 7 miles to the Jackson Gore base area and their free Friday night summer concert series. 5 miles to Echo Lake and swimming/boating at Plymouth State Park. The Ludlow-Cavendish area has it all!
