Oregon’s cannabis event is set to be the first of it’s kind in the USA. The cannabis grower’s fair will be held at the Oregon state fairground from August 26 to September 5 — that’s still plenty of time for you to find cannabis-friendly accommodations in Oregon with Bud and Breakfast if you want to check out the scene.

If you are interested in growing pot, then this event is a must for you. There will be more than 100 of Oregon’s finest growers in attendance. The draw? They are competing for $10,000 in prize money in the awards that the event is hosting. This is going to be the cream of the crop in cannabis horticulture.

Don Morse, executive director of the Oregon Cannabis Business Council, the creator of the event, has said that this cannabis fair was specifically brought about to showcase the fast growing cannabis business in Oregon. The pot growing business is the state’s fastest growing sector in the agricultural industry, and they are proud of the quality of the produce being grown.

Guest judge Ed Rosenthal is otherwise known as “the Guru of Ganja” so attendees will get to see him as well as attend events based on educating about the security and the most recent legislation on cannabis growing.

Oregon, Colorado, Alaska and Washington are the four states that have legalized recreational cannabis so far. There are a number of other states that are considering it, and these include Nevada and California. In fact, these two states are holding a referendum on the question of whether to legalize or not, and public opinion points towards a yes.

If you are interested in checking out the marijuana scene in Oregon or any of the other states where recreational cannabis is legal, you can find cannabis hotels, and places to stay where weed is allowed on the Bud and Breakfast site. Our hosts are proudly in favor of allowing guests to smoke weed. Cannabis travel is an excellent way to see other parts of the world, and still enjoy ganja.
